Responsibilities

As an Assessment Manager at DataCamp you will be part of a growing team creating and maintaining our expanding library of assessments; from measuring learning progress to certifying job readiness for roles such as Data Scientists and Data Engineers.

You will take full ownership of the assessments assigned to you from creating the initial content with item writers, to ensuring candidates receive accurate results in a timely manner from the grading team. You will be directly responsible for ensuring the contract item writers and graders connected to your assessments are successful in their roles.

You will be expected to take ownership of the quality of the content produced, ensuring that assessments are valid, reliable and fair to all candidates, using data to drive continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in education focused on the development and maintenance of learning and/or assessment materials. Experience in high stakes testing is preferable but not required
  • Strong understanding of assessment practice including approaches to assessment
  • Able to explain the requirements for creating valid, reliable and fair content to others and identify adherence to those requirements in test items
  • Highly organized with the ability to create a realistic project plan and execute it
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Able to give specific, actionable feedback to item writers and graders
  • Experience working with data and able to conduct analysis in R, Python or SQL
